With the overwhelming amount of electronics dropped at the Plug-In To Your Community event, the KRC has decided to accept electronics for recycling.
Unfortunately the service is not free, because of fees associated with disposal.
General electronics the fee is $.50/pound. Televisions (no console tv’s) are $.50/pound.
Members’ fees are reduced; they are only charged$.25/pound for televisions. Check out our Membership page for more info about becoming a member.
Please call 865.525.9694 to schedule a drop-off time.

March 22, 2010 at 10:05 amWe currently don’t accept that, but you can take all electronics to Household Hazardous Waste on 1033 Elm Street, just off of Baxter. Download the Recycling Guide for more information!
