Knoxville Recycling Coalition would like you to be aware of the following upcoming events. Recycling is, in our humble opinion, the most important way to “Go Green,” but of course there are other ways to better your life and the world around you. Check these events out and your friends will be green with envy at how cool and knowledgeable you are.

Ijams Nature Center 26th Annual Holiday Craft Party
December 12, 2009 12-3pm at Ijams Visitor Center
Everyone loves a party! Get into the spirit and join us for some holiday fun. We’ll make recycled crafts like gift tags, ornaments, candles, pine cone suet feeders and garland. There will be snacks for everyone and a wreath-making workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. Free to members, $2 for non-members. Please call ahead and let us know you are coming: 577-4717, ext. 10.
