Calphalon Renew Program

Hello, fellow recyclers!

Thanksgiving (and the Holidays in general) always seem to make us think we need new things. A new sweater for the annual family photo, new decorations for the holiday party, the list goes on and on.

If you happen to be in desperate need for new pots or pans to cook with throughout this season, we encourage you to recycle your old cookware.

KRC recently learned of a great program for recycling your old pots and pans through Calphalon®. Here’s how it works:

1. Purchase an 8-piece set, and they’ll send you a complimentary pre-paid shipping box to send back your old stuff.
2. Place any brand cookware in the box, and send it back to Calphalon® to be responsibly recycled…at no cost to you!
3. Calphalon® will send you two 100% recycled shopping bags as a thank you for joining them in helping to save the environment!

Of course, you can recycle your old cookware in other ways, too. Donate it to your community thrift store, clean it up and give it as a gift to the new graduate,  and if it’s aluminum or steel you can even place it in with your metal recycling.

Just remember, ’tis the season to RECYCLE!
