eWaste Event at UT
If you missed the electronics recycling event back in January, you are in luck. The University of Tennessee Computer Store and Make Orange Green have teamed up with Apple to provide an electronics recycling event to the community.
UT’s Electronics Recycling Event ‘09 will be held on May 16th from 9-3 for the General Public at Parking Lot S66. You can visit the University Center Computer Store’s site for directions to the lot.
For non-profits, small businesses, govt agencies, and schools, UT is also offering the same services on Thursday and Friday, May 14th and 15th at the same times. Information and directions are available from the Events web site.
The list of acceptable items includes computer equipment, audio-visual equipment, and hand-held devices. For a full list visit the PowerOn.com website.
