EarthDay Celebration in Oak Ridge
Oak Ridge will be celebrating EarthDay on Saturday, April 25th from 11am to 6pm. The OR EarthDay web site describes the event at:
“A free, family-friendly celebration with the mission to
Educate, Encourage, and Empower citizens
to create a sustainable community.”
The KRC will have a booth at the event, and we will be collecting tennis shoes for recycling. We can accept up to 100 pairs. We will take the shoes first come first served.
