New Board Members
At the November Board of Directors Meeting, Jay Price the environmental coordinator for UT Campus’ Facilities was voted onto the board.
The board and staff are happy to have Jay on board, and look forward to his insights and guidance.
Along with Jay, the staff voted to have a representative on the board.
After reviewing the bylaws of the KRC, it was realized that the Staff is allowed to choose up to 2 employee representatives to sit on the Board of Directors.
Since the staff is so small, it was decided that for now only one representative was necessary. It was an easy choice when it came to picking that representative.
Robert Huffman, or better know as Bob, has been an employee of KRC for 20 years. His time spent at the coalition has been mostly with the Purple Paper Eater picking up paper.
The KRC is lucky to have Bob as both a staff member and now a Board Member.
