Membership Drive
I was recently reviewing our membership role, and I couldn’t help but notice that we have a relatively small number of members.
I have tremendous gratitude for those who are already members, because they are a very loyal. Some have been member since the coalition began! We even have a member who hands out information to people at the recycling centers to encourage them to sign up or find out more about our organization.
Unfortunately we do not have a large number of new members. We have had several as of late, and I am grateful for their donations. However, as of right now we have only 22 members, and that number has stayed pretty steady.
I think that there are many more people out there in recycling, so this Saturday we are going to set a booth up at the Kroger in Bearden to promote membership.
If you have an interest in supporting recycling education, please stop by and join our organization. This saturday only we will be giving 2 recycling bins and a t-shirt for each new member while supplies last. Membership can also make a great give to those eco-minded individuals in you family.
